In an effort to be good stewards of funds, we are asking each in-person guest to contribute $20 to reserve their seat. Thank you for joining our guests in making a generous donation to the Durham Literacy Center where we help adults meet their life goals!

Jason is Supervising Editor for Digital News. He has experience reporting on business and health for WUNC and the Triangle Business Journal. Jason has served as a youth tutor and board member of the Durham Literacy Center.

For more than 30 years, The Forest at Duke has served the Durham community as a premier continuing care retirement community, and as a leader in social responsibility and outreach. Since 2007, the Leaders in Literacy Benefit has brought together over 220 local leaders, volunteers and supporters each year to celebrate and raise funds for the Durham Literacy Center. Now, the event is fully hybrid and guests can attend in-person or virtually.
