Wrapping up the academic year

2016-2017 was a rich year for our programs. 325 adults and out-of-school youth pursued academic, career and personal goals as students in our Adult Literacy, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Youth Education programs. Another 275 individuals received computer literacy instruction, assessment services, academic counseling or other support from staff and volunteers at the center and the Durham County Detention Center. We expect that our ongoing analysis of outcome data will show significant learning gains and success beyond the classroom.
