ESOL Student Registration

Registration for Spring 2026 ESOL
classes will be open January 1-10.
The Spring semester will be February 2 - May 14.
Please use the link below to sign up
to receive information when registration
for the Spring semester begins.
All classes are free. We offer morning and evening classes, and both online and in-person classes (depending on level and availability). You must commit to attending at least 2 classes per week for the duration of the semester. All new students must take a placement test before being enrolled in a class.
If you have any questions or would like more information, you can learn more about ESOL student registration by joining our Facebook group, ESOL @ Durham Literacy (Click here!), or email us at esol@durhamliteracy.org
What to expect:
If you would like to enroll in our English classes, please fill out the registration form. After you register, you will receive additional information about testing. All new students will be required to complete a placement test before beginning testing.
During the testing process, you will take an online English language test and complete a short interview with program staff to help us decide which class will best meet your needs. We will let you know when your class will start meeting and what technology you will need to access your class.
