We are so proud of the eight Adult Literacy and Youth Education Program (YEP) students who graduated with GED diplomas in 2016-2017! The students ranged in age from 18 to 29 years old. Most are now enrolled in college degree and vocational training programs at Durham Tech, where they are preparing for careers in fields such as Health Information Technologies, pre-Nursing, Journalism, Automotive Mechanics and Criminal Justice. Ammar Gooden-Minor (pictured on the left with tutor, Robert Morhard) is enrolling at Durham Tech. See Ammar in our video produced by ABC11 here!
