Paul Hunter shares what he has learned as DLC marks its 30th year (Herald-Sun)


Martha Klopfer, a tutor with the Durham Literacy Center, introduced her student Paul Hunter at the organization's annual Leaders in Literacy breakfast Thursday.

"He's had the courage to take on the task of learning to read, which is highly commendable," Klopfer said. She also had high praise for Hunter as a student: "He's there early. He's there with his notebook," she said.
